AHHHH, my hoover is broken!!!!

Sorry, I know that really, on the face of things, it really is a very small problem But I've got this overwhelming urge to clean everything now!!! One of Daisy's ponies got stuck in it, wrecked the band (managed to get a new one) and now the wheely brushy thing has broken so have to wait 5 days for another!!!! (I have managed to restyle the pony's tail so that it doesn't look like it has been chewed by a hoover - kind of hoping she doesn't notice but I bet she will!!!)

Lady over the road said I shouldn't even be hoovering!!!! Ok, I sort of get the point but I am still capable!!!!!

So instead I have wiped down all the woodwork on the stairs, cleaned the bathroom and tidied all the toys in the hall!!!! Is anyone else experiencing such madness????

I was having a similar kind of day last week where I felt the need to clean. My hoover had broken too so I made OH take me to buy a new one as soon as he got home from work. I've only used it once though as I have an aversion to cleaning

At 6am on Saturday morning, I felt the need to scrub the kitchen from top to bottom, top of cupboards, walls etc... so yeah, I guess I am feeling the same (although I haven't done the oven as everyone in my family has gone into labour after cleaning the oven and this baby is NOT coming until after the carpets are fitted on Friday morning!!!)

Lol, i'm a kind of clean freak anyway, but i have been going into overdrive lately. Cleaned the whole house top to bottom a few days ago, literally. after i did that, i hoovered my walls too . My OH says something really funny - 'Dust be's thinking uh oh she's coming, better run for our lives'

Me too!!! I just want to get it all done so I don't have to worry about it for a few weeks but I know I will!!!! After my last baby I got told off for hoovering too early!!!!

Last night OH and I ordered the new hoover bits - it was sooooo funny - there we were bonding over Dyson accessories (and we haven't bonded over much in recent years - believe me!!!) As well as the new wheely thing, he convinced me that we needed a car cleaning kit - have just got a new (used) car so I agreed - arghhh - domesticity!!!
