About to start 25mg clomid.

Hi I'm new to this thread. I already have a little girl who is 4 and me and my husband have been trying for baby no.2 for 14 month n I've been diagnosed with pcos. I've had a hsg done last week and my results have came back all clear, no blockages so I'm over the moon!**This means I'm ok to start clomid next weekend I can't wait. The doctor has told me to take 25mg for 2 months and then she'll up the dosage if we need to. I would love to hear if anybody has any success stories on 25mg and when did you ovulate? Xx

I don't but want to say the best of luck on your TTC journey and have seen mums who have taken clomid and gone on to have babies - my sil had two clomid babies.

I have clomid twins, conceived on my second clomid cycle. I was started on 50mg. I think I ov'ed on cd19 on the first cycle and cd 17 on the second. Good luck xxx

I've been TTC number two for almost 18 months. Diagnosed with PCOS in 2010. If not prego in 3 months, then they want to put me on chlomid. So I hope it's ok,but I'd like to follow your journey. Fingers crossed for you.xx

Well I've just took my first chlomid wahoo!! I hope I took the right amount though as they were a pain to halve and most of it crumbled so hope It still works x

I had my follicle scan today. I've got one follicle on one ovary which is 11mm at the min. I'm getting another scan on Thursday to check it's grew. I feel a little more positive that I've got one follicle off a low dose of chlomid so fingers crossed xx

Just to fill u all in. I went for another follicle scan and had 3 follicles at 10mm and several less than on both ovaries so I had to go back for another because of the high risk of multiples. When I went for my other scan I had one at 14mm. I then got my day 21 bloods done and my progesterone level came back as 1 so definitely didn't ovulate but on day 24 of my cycle my nipples started to get really sore and I had had a lot of egg white discharge that weekend so I told the nurse. The nurse then said she wanted me back in for another progesterone blood test on day 28 of my cycle as she said it sounded like ovulation signs. Anyway my bloods came back as 46!!!! So I did definitely ovulate I was so happy!!! That week I then started noticing light brown spotting so told the nurse who told me to keep an eye on it. On day 34 of my cycle I thought I would just take a pregnancy test just to check and it came back with a very faint positive so I've done lots since then, all faint positives on different tests too. Just done another and it is such a dark line I'm over the moon!! Never in a million years thought I would fall pregnant off my first month on chlomid and off a low dose of 25mg. The nurse has gave me progesterone pessaries to stop the spotting and to support the pregnancy so hopefully everything will be absolutely fine when I get my scan. Xx

That is great news! I am happy for you. I am hoping to get to try Clomid once we get into the fertility clinic. I have heard it works for a lot of women.
