A poem for those of you hurting from your angels....

My close friend passed recently, and it is his birthday today, was looking for a poem for his family and when I saw this I thought it was so beautiful, I wanted to share it with those of you wo have lost your precious darlings....


When tomorrow starts without me
and I am not here to see,
if the sun should rise
and find your eyes all
filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
the way you did today,
while thinking of the
many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time you think of me
I know you'll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name
and took me by the hand.

Ive always thought this was such a beautiful poem

Flowers are little pieces of heaven
always watching out for us
sometimes they are extra special....beautiful ones
they have the courage to stick out the storms
to survive the hard winds
fight back during the cold winter freeze
and become something even more amazing in the spring
they just keep going and going
till they bud and change you all over again
some are so strong that God wants them for himself
so he picks that flower
to put in his vase to look at for inspiration
that flower helps him watch over the rest of us
we may think that it is unfair that God
took the special, courageous flower
but the legacy of that flower will never die
the colors, scent, and most of all its presence
so we all sit back and watch and wait and hope
to see if we will become one of those flowers to someone
to see if we become the one that changed everything
