I had the same a while back and the midwife told me it was position of the baby. She suggested to me getting on my hands and knees to try and move her abit. I found leaning over my birthing ball helped alot. x

Yeah its weird it really stops me in my tracks, really painful. Like you say louise its hard to explain but never had it before. It kept me awake most of the night.

Thanks everyone, getting tightenings and they are getting alittle more painful each time, also started loosing my mucas plug. I really hope this is it. xx

On Sunday went for my first sweep, the midwife couldnt reach my cervix and baby was back to back so wasnt very sucessful but todays went alot better. The baby has moved back to front, the midwife said she could reach my cervix well and i am 2cm dilated. Woop Woop. :dance: Not Getting my hopes...
