I completely refused this all along in my pregnancy I made my hubby promise not to let them give me it unless it was a life or death situation. And I had my son with-out it and i'm glad I did, I'm a nightmere with pain and really expected myself to cave but didn't. Just my own opinion and...

Baby showers should be planned by either your sister (if you have one), Mother, aunts, cousins and best friends. Not you, you leave them to pamper you :)

We have had so much second hand from family and close friends for our first. I really don't see any problem in it at all. Everything we've used so far, Evans 8 months now, is up in the loft and will be reused for baby number two. Good luck :)

I used fake tan too in my pregnancy. I just made sure that I bought a branded one rather than a bargin type one. :)

PS I’m Sam, a 33 year old married first-time mum to a beautiful baby boy. Well, I say new but my son Evan is now 8 months old! Nevertheless he’s our first and I am new to all this. Pregnancy for me was an exciting but ever so anxious time – the waiting and not knowing...

We went for a moses basket on a stand, Evan was then able to be in our room and he was there until 3 months I was paranoid about leaving him in his own room alone. :(

As a teenager I always swore that when and if I had a baby I would never breast fed. But once I became pregnant I knew I wanted to. And I did for the first 2 months, until my milk dried up all of its own accord. Devastated wasn't the word, I took myself of to the Health visitor as a failure :(...

Mine seemed to listen everytime I was there !!! I think it just depends on the midwife x
