UPDATE: Well we went for our scan yesterday. We were taken to fetal medicine where a doctor scanned me, and then a consultant scanned me. Then my husband and i were asked to take a seat in a counselling room. The doctor, consultant and midwife sat with us and explained that it means our baby...

Thanks ladies!! I was a bit worried about the fumes - we are using emulsion on the walls and gloss on the doors/skirting so I perhaps will just keep a distance when doing the gloss and varnishing the floors? We are desperate to move in but hubby said maybe we should do all the decorating first...

I would be fuming too!! Sounds a bit like a MIL I know :-p ... shes the interfering type sometimes too.... but atleast she has her grandchilds best interests at heart... i think i would be very angry if she did that to me. xx
