Well done for getting to 13months. There is nothing to say you need to stop BF now. Ellie BF until she was 20months, and then she stopped. she gradually took less and less until she just wasn't interested any more.
How many feeds are you still giving him? If you want to help encourage him...
Ellie was talking to her Nan on the phone the other day. She said "What are you doing Nanny". to which she replies that she had been watching tv and doing something or other. Nanny then said back "What are you doing?" to which Ellie replied "Talking to you".
We all cracked up.
Definitely - if this LO plays ball. A friend wanted to know but their LO wasn't being cooperative.
We found out with Ellie as well. As far as I am concerned it is still a suprise, you just have the suprise sooner that is all. I was really expecting then to say it would be a boy for some...
We moved Ellie to a bed when she was a bit over 18months. Didn't have any problems. Even when she learnt how to climb in and out of bed once we put her down for her sleep she won't get out without us. That is still the case now. It won't be much longer before she will get herself out of bed...
I had very similar problems with Ellie when I was returning to work. I started back when she was 5months. The nursery were really good. They suggested I send her in with a muslim cloth that smelt of me. Also she would take some milk (only about 1oz but something) from other people (Daddy and...
I started back at gym when Ellie was 2months. I didn't have any problems with my supply. Though it is best to time it just after feeding not just before, but that is to make sure you aren't sweaty when you try and feed. Go for it, just build your levels up sensibly, don't over do it with...
Our Ellie dropped to just the night time feed at a very similar age (maybe a bit older). However she then carried on with just that one feed until she was 20months. At that point we went a week or so, when she just took a few sucks and that was it. So I waited for her to ask, and she didn't, I...
Oh yes forgot about blood pressure.
We get given all the leaflets from the surgery when you first tell them.
She gave me my notes. Also told me about the antenatal classes available. Talked about BF. Gave a list of appointments (ie which weeks to do what, seeing MW, scans, blood tests)...
I hope people don't mind but I really want to moan about my MIL. We had her on the phone yesterday desperate for me to give permission for her to tell hubby's Aunt. I kept saying, No, not until we have had the scan. She just wouldn't accept that (we have already said this when we first told...
Congratulations and welcome to the forum.
I had my first MW appointment on Friday. She filled in the forms then for requesting the scan as said she would post them that day. She says I will hopefully get an appointment through the post this week. I don't know how close the date will be...
I personally am waiting for the first scan before making it common knowledge, which includes officially telling work. Saying that my boss does know but that is as a friend not officially. It does make life easier.
I had my first MW appointment on Friday. It was answering a load of questions...
