had chat with doctor today she thinks I will be here another 3-4 weeks :( not what I wanted to hear but she said they increasing my meds very slowly due to pregnancy and cholestasis and i'm still having some very bad days.
Charlie had his first birthday here on wed which wasn't what I waned at...
We've been having quite a hard time since we got here and though there have been good and bad days they are more like bad and worse days at the minute.
I started new meds yesterday so hopefuly they will start to take effect soon. i'm sure my key worker is hoping so too as I have been truly awful...
I know about it earlier but my levels were in the 700's before it was picked up last time, so I think it's just that routine blood test has picked it up before getting that bad.

I didnt have it with my first 2 but did with my last. At least being in hospital anyway should make checking bloods etc easier. I'd told myself to expect it so I'm not too shocked, it's just last thing I need at the min.
Nice to know there are others who can understand the itch though!! ya just...

Been feeling itchy for the past week but put it down to coming into the mother and baby unit and change of water etc. The doctors did routine blood tests when I got here and told me today my liver enzymes are quite high and they have spoken with obstetrician who is almost...
I make up feeds with boiling water then keep them in the fridge, I know they say your not supposed to, they obviously have reasons to say that but we have been OK so far. I only make up a couple at a time, I dont like the idea of them sitting around in the fridge too long
could be something to do with your liver???? I looked a bit yellow in my last pregnancy but I had cholestasis. It may be something else, but that was the only thing I could think of. Contact your MW she will have a better idea and can rule out a lot of things with a blood test :hug:
