We went to our first treasure baskets session today! Dylan loved it! It took a while for him to get into it but once he started exploring there was no stopping him. I'm going to sort one out for him at home.
He loves paper to crunch (although I caught him eating it today!) and also those space...
We keep the nappies downstairs and do all changes on a mat on the floor but we don't have a changing station. If I need new clothes etc I just nip upstairs to get them - I see it as good exercise x
We started at 5 months as we couldn't stop Dylan from grabbing food and taking it to his mouth. I spoke to a lot of people before starting who all said to take the sign from the baby. We started slowly but had to start spoon feeding breakfast due to his weight gain (he now takes the spoon and...
Dylan has stacking rings which he loves and a v tech cube that sings tunes that are different for every side. Me and my OH know all the songs off by heart now and it's a little annoying but he loves it! I think I'll look into the cookie jar I think Dylan would love it x
I'm been looking at wee notions which is based in the UK (I think). They said they've made one before so that makes me hopeful that I'll get permission. I think I've seen a Wales one on their fb page not 100% sure though. They seem quite reasonable and loads of people have recommended them x
I'm booked in to have mine in 2 weeks I'm so excited! I'm getting a maori kuro (I think that's what it's called) and twist. It represents mine and OHs marriage and life together, then has branches to represent D and can be added to for any further children x
I've contacted the company about a custom cloth. We'd like an England rugby one as we always watch the games and used to go to matches before LO. The company have the logo but I have to request permission from the rfu to use it which I did last night. So fx we can! X
Not tried that but 12-5 is great! Dylan usually wakes at half 5 no matter what time he goes to bed (it's usually about 7pm). We've only just in the last couple of weeks stopped his late night feed x
Dylan loves his! I would say its our best buy to. He didn't know what to do at first but now jumps and turns around and plays. He's never in it more than 15minutes and only goes in it once a day. We got it at a good price as tried to use a 10% off voucher from mothercare but it didn't work but...
It's definitely an excuse although my hubby took one off yesterday - I think he wanted a round of applause when he told me! I can't wait to see the pic I'm tempted to order one from wee notions, I think I'll have a look tonight x
D first rolled front to back at 8weeks (he did it 5times and didn't do it again until a couple of weeks ago!) then he rolled back to front at 11weeks and has been doing that ever since. He's a very strong boy who just wants to move! x
Oh wow that sounds fab! Would you mind posting a pic when you get it? My OH won't touch the cloth nappies (he won't even take them off!) he's being extremely stubborn maybe a VW camper van one would get him into it x
