Congratulations hun. Glad you and bubba are doing OK.
Im due to be induced at Queens on Wednesday - really not looking forward to it - just hope I have a decent midwife.
Take care XX
Hi Hun, Ive breastfed all my babies and as you get more confident you'll find easier ways to disguise your feeding in public places. I always took muslin squares out with me and i learnt to drape it discretely if I was wearing a normal top. The bit of the top that is raised will be covered by...
Had my consultants appointment today and they have booked me in for an induction next Wednesday (4th). They did want to do a membrane sweep today to see if they could encourage natural labour but I declined purely on the fact that I have huge piles (tmi) and there was no way I wanted to...
From personal experience I think the contractions are far worse than the actual pushing. Obviously your contractions are at their strongest when you have fully dilated and are pushing the baby out but i think because you are able to bear down you are so focussed on that part that the...
Id mention it to your midwife at your next appointment.
I have had high blood pressure in a previous pregnancy and remember them mentioning to look out for visual disturbance and sudden sharp abdominal pain - get them to check yours just in case. Doesnt sound like braxton hicks - although...

I also took in the water measuring container from my iron - OK OK Ive...
Ive been told on two occasions that im having a girl. I must confess ive bought quite a few pink things but if its a boy i'll just take them back - im not fussed either way. On my second scan I asked the sonographer if it was still a girl and although he said that they dont normally change sex...
Hi hun,
Ive had a Glucose Tolerance Test and it only really takes an couple of hours.
You basically give some bloods and then are given a really sugary drink. After 2 hours they take more bloods and you can go home.
As far as im aware they anaylse both your before and after blood...
Had the most awful nite last nite with hardly any sleep. Went to bed with belly ache - not sure now if its period like pains or cos I have a really upset tummy. Couldnt get comfy at all - kept on waking up with wot I thought was indigestion - so decided to get up and have a warm milk. Hadnt...
