Since we last spoke baby has turned posterior and turns out the big argument ... Well the epidural failed. Anethitest came back and did it again. I can't even imagine the pain. It didn't look pleasent. Now going onto a hormone bag as stuck at 4cm.

Induction continues .. Tablet 2 has gone in and back on the monitor. Only 2cm dilated though so progression is slow. Possibly now having pethadine for pain relief but the induction wont be pushed any more tonight. Either nature takes course or we continue tomorrow!

Time is dragging and the clock feels like its stopped ticking! She's doing fab! Very proud of my girls big and lo :) Had some codeine for pain relief and on the tens machine! Here's to hoping we're 4+ at 4pm!!!

Induction started .. Pessary tablet inserted .. Got to wait until 4PM to see if it has effect. If not they will reexamine the situation at 4PM

Hi ladies, Went back into hosp last night as contractions were more than unbearable and no dilation!?! Sent home to let the process do its stuff - no sleep for 26 hours and I've just electrocuted her with a tens machine! :( ooops! Back off to hospital in an hour for a booked induction! Bets...

Deffo invest in a mattress protector! Running tap springs to mind! Currently contracting lots and keeled over in pain. Hopefully this is a sign of a nice established labour and by the time we get to hosp she is 4+cm (here's to hoping anyway!) lol
