aw hun hope you get the birth you wish for! I have never wished to give birth at home but do hope for a water birth in a birthing unit as I am not too fussed on the whole clinical hospital, just another number lark!!!! fx you get what you want xxx

I had my first sweep last week and was told that my cervix was posterior and thick! Think from her comments this meant that cervix was not ready for labour. I've just had my second sweep today and am 3cm dilated. Fx for you that the first one is effective and things get moving quick for you! Xxx

Just got back from MW appt, had a second sweep done and feel loads better, she tells me I'm 3cm with a soft cervix, can feel membrane and reckons I'll go myself within the next 24hours although she did say probably this afternoon! Thisbis great news for baby however it's my sons 9th birthday...
