We were the same, I found the first week horrible tbh, we slept downstairs, I stayed awake all night cos she wouldn't go sown and I.was scared of falling asleep with her, and we had visitors all day...when we got to 6 weeks it got sooooo much easier! Now she goes down at 8 after bath and bottle...

I have the summer monitor, best of both worlds really, I can hear and see her breathing and also see where her blankets are, she is still in the crib in my room but cos its dark I still have the video monitor on my bedside table so I can see in the night when she makes a noise if she is actually...
