I wish I had a crytal ball and knew which day baby is coming because that way I wouldn't have to shave my legs everyday just in case (nobody like hairy legs), keep up to date with the washing, order the supermarket shopping online on a Sunday so I don't miss the deadline for delivery, never let the mobile run out of battery or credit, keep the petrol in the car above half a tank and just generally keep house tidy and everything stocked up.

Oh, nearly forgot, be able to eat cheese. I love cheese but it gives me a dodgy stomach as have a dairy intolerance so don't want a dodgy tum while in labour. I usually eat it and live with the consequenses. DH has been having scrambled egg every morning, I would love an egg.

I'm sure I will be with you on that one when I hit 37 weeks.... :D

Do we really have to keep our legs shaved though? I really cant be arsed!!! I can't even reach my ankles!!

I'm sure my OH is loving the way I behave in pregnancy, I'm just glad I can't see my own lady garden to realise how bad things are, now thats a disaster! I used to be a neat landing strip lady too! :rotfl:

OH called me "Gorilla Lady" as I got into bed the other night........ charming......

hehe :rotfl: if only things were that simple!! I know what you mean though, Im trying to keep on top of everything, just in case. Havent bothered shaving my legs for weeks though tbh, i cant be arsed and it hurts too much to stretch and reach my ankles! lol Am saving that job for the day I go into labour, plan on having a bath at home to ease early labour pains so will do a good trim then in preparation - at least it will be nice and neat then without having time to grow back! haha :rotfl: Thats what I did last time too, and it worked a treat! :shhh:

More than anything Im trying to keep the food stocked up and diesel in the car, and above all else keep my son in his usual routine so he is disrupted as little as possible. This is getting increasingly difficult though tbh, he knows it is getting close now and is getting quite clingy, so taking him to nursery is quite a challenge at the moment and every night he has started to come and see me in the midle of the night when he gets up for a wee - I guess to make sure I am still there?

Ive been making a few bulk meals over the past few days too, to portion them off and freeze so we have several easy meals for the first few days after having the baby. Found this a Godsend last time when I was either too tired or just didnt have time to cook full meals. Have done a huge batch of meals involving mince today, so got lasagne, chilli, bolognese, homemade burgers and cottage pie! Tomorrow is the turn of chicken so will have to think what Im gonna do with it all!

I was going to do that but ordered the shopping and ended up doing a freezer shop of pies, chicken kievs, chips etc, just add salad or beans so easy stuff. Bought a couple of microwave meals also. DH can put a meal together not to bad.

we just did some stock up shopping last night.....lots of pasta sauce and easy things so that DH can do the cooking, he's no idea about it, but oh so willing :)

Our freezer is a bit small for making meals to store. Besides that is what OH is there for ;)

One thing I really need to do is pack my bag though, I keep meaning to get round to it!

I have been baking all day too, getting lunch boxes ready for morning, each night making sure the children have everything out clothes ready just in case im not there, recleaning the house last thing at night too in case we have to get a neighbour in, by bed time im worn out :rotfl:

Definately! On the day I was due to have Aimee I had contractions but they went! Ended up 13 days overdue and induced!

Would make life a tad easier! :D

Jack was a good boy and came on his due date *looks smug* :rotfl: Watch me go overdue this time lol

About the hairy legs thing.... I shaved my legs whilst "in labour" with Charlie. My waters broke a few hours before i started having contractions so there was a boring time where I had nothing to do but concentrate on feeling for contractions. I also packed my hospital bag then.
It would be great to know though. Theres a few birthdays around my due date that I really don't want the baby to be born on so I don't have to hear annoying people going on about how its the same day EVERY YEAR. :wall:
