hi everyone, hope no one minds me joining the forum, it's just that i've never actually had any experience of premature birth. Reading everyone's entries on the sight has moved me so incredibly. I can't even begin to imagine some of the heartache some of you must of been through. It's made me realise how lucky i was with the birth of my daughter. It was me that had all the problems after but i am so glad that it was me and not her.
The reason that i actually logged onto the forum is because i am doing a small project for my current college course. I am hoping to be able to go onto to train to become a midwife. The topic i have chosen for the project is premature births, what causes them and can they be prevented? This is a subject that i am interested in and would like to know more about. I would be so grateful to any of you who would be willing to share your stories and experiences with me and to also answer any questions that i may have.
