hi all, just wanted to ask if anyone has had any experiencs of dizzyness during pregnancy. i was nt feeling well at all during the night with really bad headaches. the worst bit was every time i opened my eyes the room was spinning! i felt like i had drank foe england. i still have bad head now and am a bit spaced out. cant seem to think straight at all. did not feel anything like this with my first. im seeing mw today so will ask her about it but just wondered if any of you ladies hav felt like this.

Sounds as if you need to talk to your MW, I have never experienced anything quite like that, although I get quite bad headaches. On the other hand, whats your blood pressure like? it might be high or something...

you might have a little ear infection,i had one a few months ago and i was walking round like i had to many,worse at night,it was quite frightening.make sure your drinking plenty of fluids... hope everything goes well at mw xx

Yeah I had that when I was about 16 weeks I think. I felt really ill and dizzy and the room was spinning.
It went away in a couple of days and I've had nothing like it since then so I didnt talk to the midwife about it.

oh dear, hope you were ok. seeing mw a 2 so im sure i'll find out then if my bp is high/low. im hopeing it was just a one off as i really dont want to be feeling like that again. luckily my little boy has had a nice long nap this morning so i have been able to put my feet up. its resuring to know someone else has felt like you as sometimes my DH thinks im making some of the obscure things ive felt up to get out of doing the housework

Ditto, I also had a really bad night last night. I got a migraine at about 8pm with visuals (crystals in my eyesight) and my left hand went numb. I get migraines every few months but this was the worst so far. I felt really dizzy and sick and I was quite worried. I just drank lots of water and tried to get some sleep. Feel a bit better now. Maybe something is going around?
I had it yesterday as well. All day and night. Have been getting a really bad headache about once a week since 12 weeks. I mentioned it to the midwife at my last appointment and she said it was common due to the increased hormones.

I suffer from a long-term re-current ear infection called labyrinthitis which cause the symptoms you presecribe, so I know how you must be feeling. Fingers-crossed I've not had a bad bout this pregnancy as I don't know if it is safe to take the tablets I take to relieve the problem. Let us know what your doc says about it as I might have to file that bit of knowledge away for reference.
