Just using my doppler there, haven't used it for a week or two, and after a fiddle around i found LO's HB!

He's moved up into my stomach!!

I usually have to go quite far down, i'm so happy!

Maybe a bump will appear sooner than I thought

Oh bless, you sound just like I was at that stage. About 17 weeks i noticed a small hard bump when I lay flat on my back at the end of the day, you couldn't really see it but more feel it. After lying in bed on my back for a bout 20 mins it seemed to dissapear again. I'm 18 weeks 1 day now and it is there still but doesn't disapear now and has moved up a little. I also have lots of little tapping and butterfly sensations as it moves about. I only really notice them when I am sitting quietly and not dashing about, but it is such an exciting time in the pregnancy especially after waiting so long (as you have) for a bump to begin. I hope all of this starts to develop over the next week or so for you too
