DS is only 10 months but crawling, cruising and recently walking with no fear so I need eyes in the back of my head. Hubby usually works away so he's not used to the responsibility looking after him. We went on holiday where they had hard wooden floors and DS had a little fall, hubby didn't quite catch him and he split his upper lip.
Bleeding stopped almost instantly and the scab has just come off and hasn't been an issue at all but you can still see the split.
Will the split become less obvious over time or is it likely be to always be there?
It only looks like a wrinkle in the lip but because its in the middle of his upper lip looks a little odd. I know these things happen and can't always be avoided but we feel terrible about it, especially if it's something he will have to live with even if it is just cosmetic.
