i am 33 weeks and 2 days pg since last night iv had this wierd feeling of pain in my belly it is fine as i sit here, but if i press slightly on the area around my belly button there is like a sharp pain almost like muscle cramp or some sort of straining does anyone know what im on about??....the baby is moving around normally and seems active as usual should i go to the doctors? i had it once about 2 months ago but it went after 24 hours...i just put it down to muscle stretching.... its really painful , like a pinch....(also hurts when i get up from lying down) please let me kno if u can help
there is a ligment which stretches across the belly button area and down the side of your stomach...chances are it could be this thats hurting you. I have had occasional pian from this everytime my belly has a growth spurt x don't forget though...if you're ever worried call your midwife...they're there to help and support you x
