White spots on my gums

    Hi all,

    I have some white spots on my gums that come off if I scrape them. Anyone come across this before?

    Advice greatly received!

    Sounds like a bacterial infection to be honest, I would visit your dentist & see what they think.

    not sure but it may be oral thrush, my son had it and you'll need antibiotics

    yeah i would say it sounds like oral thrush too :think:

    Thanks all - I went to see a pharmacist today who thought the same thing. He's given me some mouth wash that tastes absolutely disgusting - but hopefully will sort me out in a few days - if not, I'm off to the dentist!
