Could this be thrush, it wipes away easily and is only on her tongue, or could it just be milk residue? Confused and shouldn't have googled!

Think it's probably milk. Grace was the same and we were told it would be on the inside of her cheeks as well as on the tongue if it was thrush. Can always get the HV round to check if worried x

Hi, when chloe had white on tongue when hv saw her she was concerned, but wen I told her she was still having broken feeds she said it was just milk residue. she advised if it had been a while after a feed could be thrush. Hope its just milk residue for u too xxx

I was told that if it could wipe away easily then it was just milk residue. Just confirm with the MW, even if just for your own peace of mind.

Sounds like milk residue. Alice had thush a couple of weeks ago, it was inside her cheeks and looked like milk but couldn't be wiped away.

Our LO has the same, everyone thought it was thrush and we went through two treatments until they took an actual swab and it came back clear, no thrush...

Well theyre treating her for thrush, getting some drops from the docs tomorrow, will just have to see if it works, poor little bugger. Doesnt seem to be bothering her though, shes had a funny tummy for a couple of days but dont think this has anything to do with it. Could be just all the rich food ive eaten over the last few days lol, that what MW said anyways :)
