which painkillers are good for period pain!

Cd 58 and first proper period in 5months so cramps are remarkably painful! Just wondered what people used to help have tried ibroprufen and heat with no joy

hot water bottle and paracetomal/codeine mix is the bomb!!

Paracetamol/codine works a treat for me xxx and lots of long hot baths xx

my gyno prescribed me mefonamic acid. brill stuff

Memfamic acid is fab, I got mine from the docs. Ibrupofen is next best thing xxx

Yeah the chemist told me to use paracetomal/codeine also... it did work pretty well for me but my period pain at times was beyond tollerable, i would be scrunched up in bed crying sometimes and nothing touched it! I ended up pinching my other halfs doctor prescribed solpodol... good stuff lol
