where has it gone

time sure does fly huh. Alyssa is 10 weeks old today and it seems like only a few days have passed since i left the hospital and yet when i look at her shes grown so much, were getting into a kind of routine / flow of things and it all seems to be falling into place.
my OH is gutted cos shes gone all mummys girl on him and cries at hima lot now when i leave her with him, even when she stops crying shes grizzly for him. yesterday he had her for hours and she barely slept and cried and moaned often, soon as im home she fed off me and fell asleep lol. this morning i went to pick up her new pram/travel system (OMG its amazing, car seat, pushchair and cot all attatch to the frame, cosytoes, pushchair cover, carseat cover, cot cover, 2 raincovers and matching parasol and changing bag for 45 quid, was nearly 700 new 18 months ago apparently lol. its hardly even got wear on the tyres) she screamed at him the minute i put her down on the bed next to him and he said she pretty much cried til she fell asleep. id made her a bottle which she wouldnt take and i guess she just tired herself out lol.

looking at her asleep on the pillow on my lap after i bf'd her and we had a good natter i just cant believe shes 10 weeks old already. i cant believe shes mine or that ive managed to look after her without dropping her or hurting her in some way for this long lol

Lol your poor OH, it must be quite upsetting for them when all LO wants is mummy.

I can't imagine what life was like without our boy now, it's like a half forgotten dream lol. We muddle through each day and like you I can't believe I haven't had a major major disaster so far!

You are doing fab hun and the pram sounds fantastic xxxxxxxxx

That'll pass. Tyler has just gone through a HUGE daddy stage, like he's realised that he doesn't just have a mum, there's someone else in his life too. It was so sweet he'd just sit and stare at OH

lol see she loves her daddy, she has big smiles for him when hes home in the evening and shes happy and fed and calm, theres like an hour window after feeding before tiredness creeps in where shes got nothing but big grins for him usually but being left with him or having him actually do more than change her nappies seems to set her off lol. she was fine til just this week really. i think its funny as he loves her so much but he got lax in doing stuff with her and left it to me and this is the price he pays. he says shes with me too much now lol

Awww I know it totally flys in, makes you realise why all mummies say it doesn't it.

I was looking thro baby pics of my 1st LO, she's gona be 8 very soon & It really really does feel like yesterday she was a baby, I had a wee cry. My little pink princess, always dressed in wee pink dresses & glittery shoes, a perfect wee girl, now she's covered in cuts & bruises & pen marks & comes home totally manky froom being out playing. i just wish I could give her a baby hug....god i'm off again...

It's going so fast I feel like I waited forever for Charlie to sit up but Lewis isn't far off it now. He's definitely a mummy's boy I sent OH out with him to the shop for the first time together yesterday, being carried around outside so he can look at the trees is Lewis's idea of heaven so more of that and he'll be daddy's best friend

Charlie is still going through this, absolutely ADORES oh, whenever he sees him his face lights up, the lot. Annnnd he says dada. Well, more like dadadadadadada lol, I'm just patiently hiding my time waiting to hear mama x
