When will my AF return?

I have been on some form of contraception since I was 17

9 years on depo and then 3 and half years on the mini pill.

I stopped taking the mini pill back in April - I have had sensations since such as sore nipples, stomach cramps but no sign of my AF. How long will it be until it returns? My husband and I are TTC but currently don't know where we are with no AF.

Have you taken a test to rule out pregnancy? Maybe a wee trip to your GP to see if he/she can give you something to kick start af!

could take a while i got off the pill and didnt have af for 150 days. never again will i use the pill!

Hi there, I had been on the pill for over 7 years as an attempt to regulate my periods when I first started them in my early teens. I came off the pill back in October last year so my partner and I could start TTC and haven't seen AF since.
I have however recently been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries which may explain the absence of AF. Still frustrating though as without AF I am clearly not ovulating. So we are off to the fertility specialist today to try and get some answers.

@sianey, i was recently diagnosed with pcos as well... but i have a gorgeous 10month old. the year i conceived her, i only ovulated 3 times!!! Got pregnant each egg pop, but lost 2 to chemical pregnancies. sophie hung on tight.
the only difference that month was the folic acid i took and charting x

Wow, that really does give me hope! All we can do is keep on trying and keep our fingers crossed I guess! We have a lot of belief and hope and just try to stay relaxed about the whole thing. I think that's key though, not trying too hard and enjoying BDing! The more I stress the less likely AF is to come! Good luck everyone!!!!! .x.
