when were you induced?

If you had to be induced how soon did they do it after your due date?

i was 9 days over wiht my first but was induced for medical reasons, with my second i was 14 days over. it depends on your hospital, some say no longer than ten others say 12. my hospital say no earlier than 12 and they wont let you go more than 18 days over but they are usually really busy as well hence why i was 14 days. i would ask your mw she will know the policy, also they usually dnt book it until your 40 week check.

I had my induction booked for the Wednesday, but went into labour on my own on the Sunday at 41+1.... So if I'd made it to my induction I would have been 41+4

With DS I was induced at Term+14, and he was born at Term+15

My MIL is coming from the caribean to be at the birth, she's not staying for long, i wouldn't want to wait for like 2 weeks before an induction! she would miss out!

unfort not, my inlaws were coming from the USA and I still had to wait the 11 days before getting induced.... they only ended up with Arianna for 3 days before going back home! No matter how much we nagged the hospital and the midwifes they werent going to do it any sooner!

Aimee was induced at 40+11. Nathan was due to be induced when I was 40+14 but thankfully came on 40+5.
