When to take the home test

Just wondering what eveyone's thoughts are on this. Its so exciting waiting to test, I've been testing too early I think.

How long did you wait after you realised you were missing AF before getting a BFP?

I paid out for those first response ones and Im still getting BFN . I just want either BFP or AF now. Not testing again soon cos I get too dissapointed with that one lonely line! I need a date in mind to test again if AF hasn't arrived. How long do you think? Im currently 5 days late.

Different people can vary in terms of how long they take to get a positive. I would say personally once you're late then it's okay to test, but if you don't know exactly when you Ov'd then you might not actually be late yet if you get me, so I'd test, and then if still no sign of period in a week or so then test again xx

I was TTC so I was testing early! They dont always work early though.

I got my BFP when I was 10 days late x

I tested early too but i didn't get a BFP (this time) till AF was 2 days late. The 2nd line was soooo faint tho xx
