When to do the test

Hi

My cycle is 26 days but rarely I delay for two days. I didn't get my period today which is my 26th day. Shall I do the test tomorrow? or wait till 28 days?

Feels very exhausting to wait any longer also, don't like to see that negative result. Please advise.

I did a test came back negative maybe it is one of those 28 days cycle.
