When is CD1?

Hello all, just a quick one.

When does everyone count as the first day of AF?

It's only because I am currently spotting prior to AF, so put in my app that yesterday was CD1. However, I think from looking online that I should be counting from first day of full flow, which technically I am still waiting for.

It's amazing what difference it makes to your ovulation dates - potentially where I have been going wrong lol!

Yeah I've heard it's first day of full flow


and you are right it does make a massive difference to when you'd expect to ovulate

Cool thanks - think I just get so impatient when I know AF is coming, that I try and start my new cycle as soon as possible!

The first day I see bright red blood. I have light periods so it might mean when the bright red blood starts and might be regular spotting turning into full flow.

I started spotting at lunch time then by 8pm bright red blood would you say that's cd1 or the next day?

I usually class as CD1 Tilly as this happened to me this cycle xx

Well, I have just had 2 days of very light, brown discharge (Tmi!), and no red blood yet, so I have no idea what's going on - obviously not on cd1....
