I've googled it and everything says '1-2 weeks and your milk will completely dry up'...

... well I stopped bf my 15mo on the 11th of April and I've just squeezed my nipples and there is still milk in them!!!

What is going on? How long does it REALLY take?

Sorry to disappoint and I may be a freak lmao mine never dried up. I was still on occasion( not often unless I deliberately tried ) making milk 6 years after I stopped feeding. Just had my second child 4 days ago and my bobs are so heavy and huge I think I'm an over producer if that's a thing?

Haha, firstly, congratulations!! Secondly, thank you for replying, and that might make sense, I never had trouble producing milk (and my daughter cluster fed for 10hours shortly after she was born). Yes it is only when I deliberately try and get milk out, I thankfully don't randomly leak.

Don't know how I feel about never drying up though :-/

It took about a month to completely dry up for me

Thanks Ellen, hope it doesn't take long
