Found out @ MW appointment that placenta was at front though so was hiding the kicks.
Check your scan notes.... if it says Anterior for the placenta position then yours is at the front too and could explain why you havent felt him yet. Dont panic, you'll feel him soon enough. I never got any of the "flutters" First movements I felt can only be explained as a twitch in my tummy and within a week (if that) my oh could feel her too xxx
I first felt like sort of a prod 1 day off being 16 weeks then nothing until 20-23 weeks or so then she just did not stop!!
Try swimming Ejjie, I was on holiday when I felt Aaliyah kick properly at 20ish weeks and it was after I had been in the pool then a few days later I could feel her on the outside too I always think the swimming did the trick because in a swimming pool you can be in loads of different positions and not even know it, doing breast stroke puts you in a 'lying on your tummy' position which you may not be doing at home now with the growing bump.
Hope baby kicks soon for you you'll be regretting wanting the kicking so much soon when you get a swift one in your ribs, but it's all worth it
Just before 21 weeks, just felt two taps within my tummy which i thought might be wind BUT after that i started feeling her regular I have the placenta at the front thing too so i think her kicks and movement were cushioned untill she got big enough to really kick hard enough for me to notice. Your feel your lil man soon hun, hopefully within the next few weeks
I voted before 16 weeks, although it was only a couple of days before and I wasn't absolutely sure what I was feeling until about 17 weeks when I got more used to it.
My midwife told me I probably wouldn't feel anything until about 19 weeks first time around but my mum described to me exactly what it was like and that helped me to recognise it when baby did start kicking me. I think the fact that I'm really scrawny has something to do with it too... not a bit of meat on me, I'm like bloomin Penny Crayon or something
This is my first and I felt baby move around a week ago, I was in bed though, if i'd been walking around or anything I probably wouldn't have noticed as it was quite faint, now I know what they are though I can feel them getting stronger
i started to feel little flutters at around 15 weeks and quite a bit of poking and moving from around 17 weeks, but have just this week started to feel real big kicks
