When are you putting baby things out??

we have all her stuff ready but its in the loft, like i have the crib i need to put up for next to my bed, and the moses basket thatll be downstairs, and things like the play gym etc.
When did you get it all out and set it up?
All her clothes are put away but because shes sharing a room with my son when shes old enough I dont no if I should wait to paint the room half pink and half blue or do it now?

we did the nursery and everything in august to ensure all the paint fumes were gone and everything is out now but the moses basket needs to go in our room but will move it when he arrives x

iam working on the babys room atm and as soon as they wallpaper and border and carpert has been put down i shall be going out getting the cot etc and havin it all ready etc for when she does come along

i got everythin washed n out at 37weeks, i just need to put the moses basket into our room when he/she gets here & get hubby to carry the pushchair downstairs so it can live in the hallway,

ive been going in there and just sitting on the floor looking at everything, and then thinking, oh my god there is gona b some1 living in here very soon, and wearing all those little clothes we have got!! still doesnt seam real yet,lol

See if it was my first baby and I had a room to do up etc it would be differant =/
I just feel bad for putting her things in Joes room for some reason.
Maybe I could put the crib up next to my bed and just keep the play gym etc in my wardrobe until shes here.

I'm tight for space. Baby is sharing my room, so far I have washe and hung up and put away clothes. I need new carpet and paint in my bedroom, and as soon as that is done I will put up cot. My Moses basket is in my living room needing putting together, and will do that in the next couple of weeks. Pushchair is at in laws house, ready to go! So I guess I leave that there until d day. I'm gonna put my car seat base in my car at about 37 weeks so it's done and ready! Quite like organisation! Lol xx

I'm working on this at the mo too!

I now have the cot bed up in my room, and all washed and ironed sheets/blankets for moses basket etc now in carrier bags to keep them clean are under the cot ready so they don't get dusty again. We are using moses baseket sittign in the cot! Just drying the cosytoes that came with my sisters pushchair at mo and washed the baby carry thing too, and the bouncer chair too, and new bateries in as it also plays music etc, that's also sitting in the cot. I am now onto washing the car seat as also second hand from my sister.

I haven't ever had curtains in my room, so we put a pole up yesterday and now have cream bear nursery ones up ! (from my lovely sister !) I couldn't get out of bed on time it was sooo dark thiks morning!!!

We've not got a nursery, just our bedroom, so not really a lot we can do. We've put the cot up though (v useful for putting clothes on over night...!!) Haven't washed any of the clothes yet cos they'll just go musty (v damp flat, although we have got a dehumidifier that will be on a lot once baby's here!).
