I've been having some pains in my pelvis today its like braxton hicks but I'm getting them quite a lot I also have a lot if pressure down below it feels like babba is gonna fall out when I stand up its quite sore I also have a sore lower back. I'm just a bit worried as still got 4 weeks to go and I've had a few braxton hicks but nothing like this. Babba is moving about mad today and had mw this morning an he's doin good so at least he's ok but it's typical this all starts after my mw app! Got ante natal tomo so if it carries on ill ask then but I'm slightly freaking out as I keep thinking if this is just my body getting ready how am I going to cope when it's the real thing eek! Anyone else had this? X

Think its the baby dropping down,I had exactly the same last week and had midwife today and she said baby is 2/5 head engaged now,was free last time

thanks for replying, I am gonna keep an eye on it and if gets worse ill phone the hospital as it is pretty sore and im sitting worrying that somethings wrong the baby has been more active than usual also which im slightly concerned about im such a worry wart but this is all new to me lol! x

Worth a call, for reassurance if nothing else hun! No good you worrying. From what people say, the head engaging can be pretty uncomfy. I just can't wait....... :-/
My antenatal mw also said to report extra active babies. X

Thanks girls I think the pain was coming from him moving down it was like I could feel his head in my pelvis not a lovely feeling I must say! Got the best sleep last night I've had in ages! Feel so much better today my back is a bit sore but nothing like last night and babba has been moving about as usual this morning but got ante natal class in an hour so gonna mention it to mw just to b sure x
