What does your baby smell like?

I love sniffing Stanley when he's all sweaty and sleepy.

Sometimes it's biscuits or honey, but today he smelt of pork scratchings. My little piglet!

Currentlt she smells of slightly off Wensleydale She has mild cradle cap (which is horrible as it is) but the smell is overpowering!

I love it when she wakes from a nap and she has been in a deep sleep-she smells sort of stale, musty slobbery but with a hint of her ususal talc baby scrummy smell!!!! I always nuzzle into her and sniff!!!

Mum always says she smells equsitite (sp?), I only use Johnsons baby bath and talc but she does smell sweet.....(except when she poo poos, then shes rank )

The stale milk smell that we both smelt of earlier has now been washed off (after he was sick on us both!) and now smells of baby shampoo!

Depends what time of day, shes got into taking her nappy off when shes in bed so at that moment in time she smells like POO, but normally shes lovely

That's funny, she's just breathed out in my face, and she smelt of sweet milk - she's the only person I know with sweet smelling breath! I guess its because she's got no teeth!

Often she smells of olive oil (how we treat her cradle cap) or of grapeseed oil (from her nightly baby massage) but she just smells gorgeous, all the time!

I bet if you blindfolded us all and just let us smell loads of babies, we'd be able to tell our own instantly!

He smells a little bit sweaty and cheesey (cradle cap) but there is a sweet smell there too.

When he was born he smelt like meat (sounds awful, I know) but I couldnt stop smelling him, it was like there was this animal inside me and every time I smelt it I felt this fierce love well up inside me. It was very insense and scary in a way.

I remember that too! It was a wierd addictive smell.

I also remember that addictive smell when Dan was born!Couldnt stop smelling him and with each smell i could feel such overwhelming love!Still can!

Ryan usually just smells like baby wipes.. always using them to wipe something off him, usually puke, dribble or huge poos LOL

I don't remember a newborn smell, feel like I missed out on that..

my bam smells gorgeous, she always has a lingering after scent of her babywipes/baby bath, but she has her own unique smell that i cant describe but its just my bam

she smells like lenor! i normally use fairy so im very conscious of the change. (lol shes giving me funny looks!)
it was the top of her head i sniffed and i closed my eyes but still i could only smell lenor! maybe its coz she just had a nap about 20 mins ago the bedding mustve scented her head!
