i went to get my highlights done yesterday and got a cut as well as i usually do. iv quite fancied a fringe for while but my boyf dont like them, he just doesnt find them very attractive. so i asked if she (the stylist) could compromise and put a fringe in thats subtle and not very noticeable well this is what i got! (pics below)
its definately a fringe!
i knew my boyf wouldnt be impressed and he admits he's not keen. but he hasnt been nasty or anything, he's entitled to his tastes. i like it anyway, but might put an alice band in when i wanna seduce him! unless it grows on him like my nose piercing did (he also hates piercings!)
anyway the junior who did my highlights was nearly 6 months pregnant, she was a very pretty young girl and wore a really pretty flattering outfit she looked blooming and beautiful! but i felt bad for her, coz she looked about the same size as me at her stage in pregnancy, she had a really small frame but a lot of weight (not fat, just bump and water-plumpness iykwim) and i was sat down while she was stood up doing my hair, getting bleach on her hands, on her feet for ages as my hair is extremely thick. and then later when she was drying it, it was a hot day too and even i felt quite hot even tho i was sat down and even tho now im this thin im very tolerant of heat- i can remember how i felt this time last year when i was heavily pregnant and how i just couldnt keep cool it was horrible, i cant imagine how she mustve felt, stood up moving her arms under a hot dryer, i felt really sorry for her. i felt like she shouldve been sat down and me stood up! i think i owe her an ice lolly
anyway here are some pics- oh yeah btw i went to my parents' after my hair (my mum had been looking after waa-waa) and we intercepted in tesco's and my lovely kind mummy bought millie lotsa cute clothes including a strawberry sunhat and a hello kitty top, and she bought me these shades- arent they nice? can u believe they were only £7?! i love it when i find something cheap that doesnt look cheap like it is!
