Hi guys

So I blagged my Drs appointment by saying I was getting a jab before my holiday (going to Egypt on Saturday - woohoo!), but after 2 weeks off sunning myself I have to come back and see the midwife after only 3 days back at work. Got any good ideas on the excuses I should use? I know I probably don't have to tell them anything, but I'm so chatty they will know something is up if I don't tell them anything. Doesn't help I have dentist the day before too...

As I'm a temp I don't want to tell them about my pregnancy any earlier than I need to, especially as they are considering putting the job I am doing up to permanent (and I would have to interview against others for it).

Blah - My Little Sausage, why are you such a little terror already?

I would just say you have a doctors appointment. They don't need to know any more. If they ask, say its a girlie matter. If you boss is a bloke then he won't ask any more! Lol.x

Yeah or you could say your having to have work done at the dentist and need the next day off to recover. I'm very lucky me and my OH own our own business so I can work from home and no one know's any different. However I am having to avoid my friends as if I decline one more glass of wine they'll guess :) xxx

I have this problem too. I was bridesmaid at one of my bestfriends weddings a few days after I found out - Hubs and I had to ensure no one else was at the bar when we ordered our drinks so I could pretend I had a vodka n coke instead of just fizzy :)

People know I am a very social creature and enjoy a tipple, I am sure people will soon figure it out.

Unfortunately she is a lady. I had a male boss once who would completely freak out at girly matters - was great. But for this boss I will have to be creative.

You could say u have a bite from some kind of bug on hol, n need it checking as its swollen up. And say its on ur inner thigh so u dont have to show them! Xxx
