What a week!

Hi ladies!
I haven't managed to get on here all week for one reason or another, so I hope you are all ok and feeling well today!

My week started off with a trip to the hospital.......sunday night I was sooooo tired and I went to sleep without noticing the baby move v much (altho he may have done).....went to work monday but altho he moved a little it didn't seem like usual.....I was trying not to panic but decided at 11am to ring the midwife. She told me I needed to go to the day unit and get monitored to see if he was ok! So then I started panicking!...............Manged to get home and my mum took me to the hospital where we met my OH. They checked my urine and BP and put me on the monitor- fotunately baby was fine and typically then started moving much more like his usual self! I was so relieved but he did give me a scare!! Went home and rested for the afternoon and went back to work tuesday........

......Week at work has been crazy and I've been getting sooo hot it's horrible. There's lots of changes going on and lots of people on A/L so it's been v stressful!......

.....Had a day off thursday and managed to go and buy more baby things but then had a big freak out about it all being so real and not being ready in time but fortunately my mum and OH managed to calm me down and cheer me up. Feel like my hormones are all over the place at the mo, I have cried bucket loads this week!....

.....Went for our 4d scan yesterday which was lovely! Got to see LO's face and he is sooo cute (I'm biased of course!). All measured well and he is on the middle line on the graphs so that's good. Estimated current weight is 3.4lbs......can't believe that will have at least doubled over the next 10 weeks!
We got a dvd and showed my parents who were amazed (they didn't have any scans at all with me!)......

OH has done the last coat of paint in the nursery today, so we are nearly ready for furniture now!.....

.....Can't quite believe I'm 30 weeks today. Feel so relieved that the week ended much better than it began

I have 16 working days left now.....feels like a lot but I know it isnt!

Am hoping when I'm on mat leave I can get on here more frequently and keep better updated on how you're all doing!

Sounds like you had a very stressful beginning to the week hunny, glad little one is ok
The 4d scans are amazing arent they? I would love to see my little missy again but im going to wait to meet her now.

What a week! Glad LO ok though! We had 4d scan last week but baby didn't behave and so got to go back for another but duno when that will be as hubby away working and not sure when he will be home! Do you have any pics of scan?

phew Im exhausted just ready, poor you. But the week got better hey...

Im moving house at the beginning of Oct and baby due end of Oct so cant actually get anything sorted til we are moved in mmm am feeling the pressure already so know how you feel and am a bit paniky about the birth even though I have a child already! I keep trying to buy things but OH stoping me as we will just have to pay for it to be moved x

That does sound v stressful hun.....I would really struggle with that, but at least you have one child already and it's not all brand new! Fingers crossed that all goes smoothly with the move in October and that you are ready in time......am sure it'll all work out. We have to try and stay calm! xx

Hi Sarah, yes I do have pics but they aren't on here as my OH doesn't want me posting any of LO (not wntirely sure why but I am respecting his wishes).

That's a real shame your LO wasn't behaving! We were v lucky that ours was in a good position, was nervous he wouldnt co-operate! Hope you have better luck next time hun xx

The scans are amazing! I wasn't going to have one but really glad we did as needed the reassurance! I have watched the dvd loads since the weekend, just amazed every time!xxx
