Hi bonni, it is supposed to be clear before OV - not cloudy or white. Is it your OV time?

I think it's normal to get 'patches' of fertile looking mucus at anytime in your cycle. I get a little bit here and there. You should see the most around your OV time (11-21 days in). x

When you're not fertile it'll be white and thick ish, when you're ovulating it'll be like egg whites and stretchy, after ovulation, you normally dry up as no longer fertile then after that, to be honest it varies from woman to woman. I think the best thing is to keep an eye on it (that's if you're not pregnant), and see what happens next cycle. That way you'd see if it's normal or a potential pregnancy symptom.
