Weaning off a dummy, any ideas?

Hi has anyone got any ideas for weaning a baby off a dummy? My little girl is 10 and a half months and i dont want her to have it for much longer. OH started giving her one when she was born even though i didnt want to! She only really has it when shes going to sleep but i would like to knock it on the head. Thanks!! Ami

We just took them away and didnt give them back, we had moans and crying for about a week, but they soon forgot after that, abigail was 2 and tia was 1

Cut a small hole on the top of the teat! she'll give it you back! It worked for all mine, fingers crossed for you!
