Thought i'd start a thread about what meals we're giving our LOs for those that are weaning- be it traditional or baby led I know there's a few if us out there looking for inspiration so hopefully it'll be if some use x We're doing BLW with Harry and he's now 6.5 months Today he had Brekkie: One adult weetabix with whole milk Lunch: cheddar cheese cut into fingers 3/4 pear (I quartered it for him) 1/2 rice pudding pot 1 Biscotti Tea: pizza toast (from BLW book- basically 1 slice bread with Tom purée, herbs and cheese on grilled and cut into fingers) 1/2 small advocado mushed with a bit of Philly 1 sachet Ella's oat crumble (he loves this and sucks it out if the pouch!!) What have your LO's had?
Good idea! We've had an unusual day because I was kicked out of the house all day due to the boiler being fitted. Breakfast was some organix porridge with raisin and banana. Lunch. 1/2 jar of baby food from asda cafe (really impressed that they give you it free with a sandwich actually!) plus some satsuma segments Dinner. Rest of jar, a 2/3 of a crumpet and a banana plus a petit filous I like the idea of a pizza, I'd heard of English muffin pizzas like that before. Must try them!
Pizza toast are my fall back tea when we either haven't got much in or what we're having doesn't suit him! If you haven't got the book you basically toast a piece if bread on one side only, spread Tom purée on the untoasted side and then grate cheese in, sprinkle in a few herbs and grill Have to have I've had his leftovers before and it's yummy!!
