Hello there.

Just a quick introduction from me. Found the site after Googling for a UK based pregnancy forum.

I live in a small village outside Cambridge with my husband-to-be (getting married in September this year), 2yr old daughter, 4 cats, 4 rabbits, 3 coldwater fish and 2 plecs.

Thank you for all your replies. It seems a very friendly board here, so think that I'll really like it.

Clairescunny55 - how are your wedding plans coming along? Think we're almost there. Just need shoes for me and to decide on hairstyles. We've got a very tight budget so nothing showy, just turn up, "I do" and munch a sausage onna stick.

sorry to be dumb, but whats a plec?

Plec is short for Plecosotamus and it's a type of fish that eats algae from the sides of the tank, so is helpful in maintaining the water.

I have 2 butterfly plecs - they only grow to 5cm and to be honest, I could do with a few more, but these 2 are perfectly happy .

They look like this when suckered to the sides of the tank.
