Hi all!

Hope you don't mind me sneaking in here :)

My name is Charli, I'm 27 and I live in Aldershot, Hants with my partner Allan and our nearly 17 month old little boy Riley.

Riley is the light of my life, however, I am desperate for another. Unfortunately, due to our current situation we can't start trying for another. So every announcement of pregnancy or birth is hitting me a bit hard at the moment. I feel a bit hopeless as I don't know when we are going to be financially stable enough to start thinking about having another. Riley was our little surprise, so we want to plan a bit better for baby number 2.

Can anyone offer any advice as to how to cope with this a bit better? Or am I a lost cause? lol

Hey Charli, weren't you in my April/May 2013 mummies group??

I haven't really been on this forum for a while, only posted a day or 2 ago.

I can't offer any useful advice, apologies...but i do hope some other ladies might be able to.

May I ask if you are not going to be able to have another LO, or are you waiting for changes in your current situation in order to allow this to happen? xxx

I don't think anything makes the broodiness easier to cope with! I'd love another but need to lose a couple of stone first. I've been on this site since Feb and it's killing me all this waiting! It was easier once I had a date I was working towards, but I've pretty much decided to put it back a few months. Now I need to learn I have 8/9 months to wait instead of 4!

Chezza - I think we were :) This is my first time back in ages as well. We are just waiting for changes in our own lives before we start thinking about brining another into it. My partner lost his job a year ago, so I went back to work full time. But not earning anywhere near as much as he was. So we are struggling a bit.

Mrs M - I think part of my issue is that there is no set date :( Its just whenever we are back on our feet, really.
