My LO is 28 weeks, he's on a 9oz bottle at 7am, breakfast, lunch and tea and then a 9oz bottle at 7pm, I make his breakfast with 3oz of formula milk so he's getting 21oz of formula in 24 hours.

My question is how much water should he be having, he usually has around 1oz of cooled boiled water after his meals, is this enough?

He doesn't seem dehydrated and he's very content so im guessing he is getting enough fluids, just wondered if anyone had any Info on how much water babies should be having when having 3 meals a day?

    Thanks xxx

His poop will tell you! Frequent normal poops, no constipation will mean he'll have enough. Constipation is one of the fist signs you need more water!
