Hi,

I was hoping for a little reassurance, my LO is using his Vtech walker (the one you hold on and push along, not the sit in walker) ive noticed since hes been using it, he is ALWAYS walking on his tiptoes, is this normal?

Thanks

T xx

Get rid of it... the walker not the baby I mean...

Lil miss was the same and she didn't get out of toe walking until we brought her a stiff pair of shoes. Didn't hinder her walking mind :) She was walking at 9.5 months. But when I realised that she was toe walking using it I ditched it.

Walkers don't necessarily cause problems in every child but can, and should only be used for 20 minutes at a time at the most. If they do cause probs like toe walking.. just get rid of them. :D

Kyran walks on his tip toes with his v-tech walker to, but we bought his first solid pair of shoes from clarks the other day and admittedly he could hardly walk at all in them to start with now he walks flat footed in them until you take them off again! Hes getting better everytime, i think he just needs a bit more practice.
