Upper back ache

Hi all, I just wanted reassurance and advice really. I have been suffering alot with back ache for weeks now but its been really bad today. The thing is everything I have read goes on about back ach in the lower part of your back......I do get that but the majority and worst pain is always in my upper back.....It feels like someone has stabbed me and is twisting the knife almost constantly. Is thiss upper back ache normal? And has anyone got any suggestions of how to ease it?

Hello

Most my pains are lower back but i also get upper back pain, but i go to my weekly chiropractor visits ot help with teh pain a little.
Try having ho0t baths they help me until i get out .
