We are putting on an extension and now that I will have a utility room I can finally get a tumble dryer  . I've never had one before so don't know much about them but was wondering whether I should buy a condenser or one with a vent.

If you have somewhere to stick your hose (not to be taken the wrong way  ) then I would go with the vent. Just my preference :D

I prefer the vented ones but they aren't much use if they are not on an outside wall or buy a window. I have a condenser now and its drives me mad, it keeps getting clogged up :x

its an absolute godsend, really simple to use, looks lovely and has its own brain which works everything out for me. have the washing machine to match, cant fault them.

That looks a lot like our condenser dryer.. tbh I don't know how I survived without one when Tia was a baby...they are an absolute god send. If you have the ability to poke the pipe outside though, I'd go for a vent dryer just because you will save time not having to empty the condenser all the time.

I have nowhere to put a hose

But my condenser is great :D
