TTC - Positive test now light bleeding. HELP!

Hello all,

This is my first time on this forum site or any site for that matter.

My partner and I have been ttc for 7 months now. On one occasion I was 5 days late for my period then came on, but other than that no sign of pregnancy at all. Until this month...

I took a test last night (2 days late for period at this point), it came up negative at first but then a faint positive line came up after about 30 minutes. Now today I've gone to the toilet to light bleeding. I'm getting so disappointed, people keep saying stop stressing and it'll happen but we haven't been stressing we've been having sex when we feel like it not really talking about it a lot and then get a little excited/nervous each time my period is due then I get my period or in this case get it late with a positive test and then bleed...

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions on what the test could have meant, but I know how you feel I wanna punch the next person who tells me to relax it will happen in your own time lol. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you or has had a similar experience x

Can you get to the doctors, if you've had a faint positive they may do blood tests for you?

The test could have been an evap if the line showed up after 30 minutes. I would take another test and/or go to the doctor for a blood test to confirm. If you are pregnant the bleeding could be implantation. Good luck!

Its been such a long time trying to conceive that I just get sooooooo over emotional not knowing and the constant waiting and it feels like everyone around me is getting pregnant instantly and often without even wanting to!

What do you think by this image....evaporation line or positive?

It's definitely a line! It's hard to say if it's an evap or not.. I know when I was pregnant the lines came up pretty quickly so the 30 minutes until it showed makes me think it could be evap, try another test tomorrow, give your hormones a little time to build up more.

Agree with Salley. Test again tomorrow and hopefully the positive comes up within the time!
