Hello. I have been ttc for a over 2 years. I’m 26 years old. I have went to a doctor and have a vaginal ultra sound and she said everything looks good. And a blood test. She has told me that I have pcos but not a specific type of pcos. And that’s I just need to keep trying I’m young and it will happen. I feel like they are just pushing me off. They should be doing different test right? I just need some help on what to do next. Should I find a different doctor? Or should I demand some kind of answers? Or should I go on to a specialist? I feel like I should know what to do but I’m lost and need some help.
Hi! I am not sure around PCOS and if there are different types but it is definitely possible to get pregnant with PCOS. I am having blood tests run by my GP next month to test FSH and LH on day 3 of my cycle. Perhaps this is something you could ask for?
Thank you so much! I will definitely ask them to test for more because I feel like they should be giving me more answers. I feel so in the dark with all of this.
I was diagnosed with pcos at 16. Definitely possible to get pregnant. I have a 10 month old and I'm pregnant again They need to work put if your ovulating or not as that's the main problem with pcos. What are your cycles like x
If you have been trying for over a year they should complete bloods. Its important you LH and FSH ratio are correct for ovulation. I had a child and then after i had him i developed pcos. Now suffering with secondary infertility. I had to have tried for a year before they would look into. Now having private fertility treatment. Depending how how severe your pcos you can get pregnant some women just need help
