I know its early days but was in town today and my mum is so excited she wanted to go and have a look. Don't think there is any harm in looking and now we have an idea of how much things are going to cost!

Went into babies r us, mothercare, john lewis and mamas and papa. had a look at the silver cross 3d classic which looks lovely, i love the way it lies flat with the carrycot insert bit and looks very warm and cosy, its only £299 at the moment for everthing including the carseat which is an amazing price!

Also like the Mamas and papas sola which is completely different. Looks more stylish also i like the way everything clicks on the frame instead of the carseat going on top of the actual pushchair seat, like the carrycot too just worried it might be a bit too big to fit in the boot, currently looking at getting a new car (fiesta, not brand new shape)

In john lewis had a look at the icandy buggies, liked the cherry and the apple but looking at it close up it looks nowhere near as comfy as the other two buggies and for the price aswell! its just the name you are paying for! Dont know if i can justify it!

Has anyone recommend any of these buggies?? :)

price of the first one you mentioned sounds good! think they are supposed to be good too. i have the graco symbio which is lovely, but a little chunky, but it does fit perfectly in my car (renault megane)

i had a fiesta and it was the best car i had!

good luck with the travel system shopping, make sure you try them all out ( i was in toys r us for hours lol) and spend a lot of time folding them up and down and playing with all the different bits and make sure you understand how it works and see what you like best! its so much fun! haha x

I was going to get the sola they are lovely but we went to mothercare and tried out the mothercare my4 and decided on that instead. The silver cross one sounds like great value tho hun and they do look very comfy I know a few ppl who had them and never had any problems. Dont like any of the Icandy prams think up close they dont look as nice as on the website and for the price you pay its not very good value for something you probably wont use for that long really as most ppl change to a stroller after the first yr or so as they are more practical for an older child x

Unfortunately I've fell in love with the iCandy apple! They are so expensive though.. I've put my name down for overtime I want one that bad! :)

I have the silvercross surf and I love it :)

I've got the silvercross 3d...I really wanted 1 last time but they were new on the Market and quite expensive so cos my mil was buyin I didn't wanna take the mick....luckily my sil took the mick and used it for less than 6 months then passed it on to me. So this time I've got the pram I want without it costin a penny :D
I love the way it folds up so compactly but is still sturdy and looks great. Just a shame that once they start sittin up in the pram they have to be forward facin and not rear facing (unless in the car seat) xx

I have the silver cross 3d and love it it fits into the smallest cars but emmamb has pointed out the only problem I have found!if you have the extra money/car space I would look at the silver cross linear freeway which I am looking at getting and selling the 3d!

yeah im not fussed on 3d but only cos i like summit a lil funky , i have icandy apple and love it! we have a fleece liner and footmuff in so its super comfy for madison :) xxx

i've got the 3D in red, it's absolutely fab

I love the iCandy Apple, have drooled over it in Lewis's for weeks now, but can't justify the money, as I have everything else to buy too.
Have seen the Silver Cross 3d in Mothercare, with the free car seat, so might investigate that one :)
xx

I'm thinking of getting that Silver cross 3d classic too....it's in Mothercare for £299 with car seat worth over £100 free :) Gonna take a look on saturday = I like it cause it looks stylish and not too heavy and bulky. It's the most popular selling pram online in Mothercare, so can't be bad :)

I bought the icandy peach set - I loved it from first glance lol. It's still at the store, need to go and collect it soon but don't want to take it home. Need to find someone to keep it for me until the baby arrives.

I absolutely love and am going to buy the icandy cherry in mulberry or turquiose depending on if its a girl or boy! Ive asked people in the street what they think and they all love it and would recommend!

I do also like the icandy peach too!

Hope you have fun choosing xxx

I've ordered the iCandy peach too! In sweet pea colour! The shop I got it from stores it until we are ready to pick up nearer to when baby comes! Exciting! Xxx

I will be getting the Mamas & Papas Sola. I love it! Still havent ordered though. From researching the internet it would appear there are new colours coming out in the new catalogue out from 1st Feb, so I am going to wait a bit longer in case they reduce any of the other colours. Also I may wait until baby is here so I can choose a funky colour depending on baby's flavour.

Might be worth looking for reviews on the prams you like. I couldnt find a bad one about the Sola.

I've got my eye on the Silver cross Linear Freeway Pram & pushchair.

it doesnt come with any extras though and is £410.00, thanks mum and dad!

i have ordered the silvercross 3d in ebony... i loved the way it folded compact as i have a 206... and it was good value for money as the car seat was included :) i have read on reviews the shopping bag underneath is tricky to get to but thats the only flaw... feel better now others have the same pram! xx

Yeah the basket can be tricky but I think you just adjust to it and work it out!x

Glad to find this thread. I am obsessed with prams! I am looking at the quinny buzz and the bugaboo cameleon. They are both pricey but I recon it will be my biggest purchase and I will be quite happy comprimising on other things. Anyone had the bugaboo? I want a parent-facing pushchair (as well as carrycot) and that fits with a maxi-cosi isofix seat and can go off-road and steer one-handed for walking dog.
