Too early to test?

Hi all

I am due AF tomorrow and I took a HPT this morning (couldnt wait any longer!). The test was negative but I'm wondering if I took it too early? Also, I used a really cheap test I got on internet so dont know if its reliable. Am I just kidding myself that there's still a chance I could be PG? Wish I hadnt tested now, feeling so down about it

Yeah.......try again in a few days, may be too early, I was 8 weeks with my first until a test gave me the BFP!!!

I just did that too! tested with a first response test at CD26 and got a BFN! I also wish I hadn't done it now - makes you feel so bad!

People on another forum are telling me it may be too soon, as I don't really know when Af is due as it's my first month off bcp!

I'm not going to test now for at least a few weeks, unless af turns up in the mean time...

Hi Jools,
My AF also due tomorrow - haven't tested yet - I'm too nervous! I have had some unusual symptoms this week though - low cramps/tightenings which I've never noticed before, and DH thinks my breasts are bigger than they usually get before AF arrives. I'm not convinced, but really want to believe this is our month. Am trusting in God that things will happen in His perfect timing... Will let you know how it goes.
Good luck for tomorrow. Try another test (using first morning urine) if still no sign of AF by Sunday, and keep in touch. Good luck!!
