TMI….. 36.5 weeks BM

So for most of my pregnancy I have been constipated. The only way I’ve been able to go more than a few pebbles is by using miralax. I took a half dose over a week ago. So I doubt it’s the cause. Since yesterday evening I’ve gone 7 times. Real, normal bowel movements, not diarrhea. I don’t have much pain, a slight discomfort if anything, but I go to pee and surprise, I have to go number 2.

Does this usually happen at the end of pregnancy? Like a cleaning out process??

It can definitely happen as baby starts to drop.. your bowels are being squeezed like toothpaste in a tube lol. It doesn’t mean labour is super close though.
